The NMH Foundation & the Homeless Period

Inspired by the project the Homeless Period Dublin our fantastic Social Work Team have now set up a similar scheme here at The NMH. The initiative was set-up to change the idea of charity to 'gifting' a product from your hand to that of another woman in need. Across Dublin donations of sanitary products are regularly distributed to women who simply cannot afford them.

Here at The NMH, our Social Work Team provide mothers with maternity essentials such as, maternity pads, breast pads & disposable underwear, as needed. We were very grateful to receive a donation from Mothercare Ireland, which kept our stocks high for a time, donations are always greatly appreciated.  

Next time you are doing your weekly shop, you might consider purchasing some sanitary products for NMH Mothers who cannot afford them themselves.
