Saoirse

β€œOn 11/11/24 I found out that I was blessed with three identical triplet girls. An extremely rare type of pregnancy that was filled with the highest of highs and the lowest of lows.

Tragically towards the end of my pregnancy, one of our previous girls Bella became our angel. An unimaginable heartbreak that no family should have to experience. Her sisters Lia and Dua came home after receiving the best care for 30 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in The National Maternity Hospital.

Bella has looked after her sisters Lia and Dua every step of the way as they are thriving and are two healthy and happy 16 month olds who are so full of life. We know that Bella is always with us and we want to honour and remember her precious life always.

To honour and continue to remember our beautiful Bella and to extend so much heartfelt thanks to the staff in The NMH, I am raising funds to support them in their essential work. On our journey we received so much support from so many departments (fetal medicine, bereavement, mental health, NICU, to name just a few) and I want to do what I can to give back in some small way.”

October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month - a time when we will remember and honour babies who have sadly passed away due to miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death, and other causes of infant loss. πŸ’—πŸ’™

This October, Saoirse will be walking to remember baby Bella (Rest in Peace) πŸ’—πŸ¦‹
