ROLO Study Menopause

Historically menopause has received limited attention and research. Mothers part of the ROLO Study are now entering or approaching menopause, giving us an opportunity to understand what factors may influence their experience during this transition.

By examining the diet and lifestyle of the ROLO participants over the past 15 years, the research aims to identify potential associations and understand how these relate to the timing and symptoms of peri menopause and menopause.

Research like this is vital and is a significant step towards improving support and care for women during this transformative life stage, and ultimately improve quality of life for future generations.

The NMH Foundation is delighted to play a part in supporting work that advances women’s health beyond pregnancy and birth. In this video, Laoise shares what the research is exploring.
